Every birth experience is unique, and our labor and delivery teams are here to support you with personalized care, comfort and expertise every step of the way. The labor and delivery unit at Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital is designed to provide a safe, comfortable and supportive environment for you, your baby and your family during one of life’s most important moments.
Each year, our teams help welcome more than 9,000 babies, caring for women with both routine and high-risk pregnancies. From early labor through delivery and recovery, experienced nurses, physicians, nurse practitioners and certified nurse midwives work together to support your birth preferences.
The entrance to the Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital’s labor and delivery unit is located on the second floor of Norton St. Matthews Medical Plaza 3 at 4123 Dutchmans Lane. From the entrance to Plaza 3, take the gold elevators to the second floor. Proceed to the admission desk for the labor and delivery unit.
Patient drop-off is available at the entrance to the medical plaza. Free valet parking is available Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the building entrance and at the main hospital entrance.
Free parking is located at Entrance 4 from Dutchmans Lane, near the intersection with Browns Lane, or in the surface parking lot next to the medical plaza. TARC Routes 19 and 23 serve the Norton Healthcare – St. Matthews campus.
