Norton King\u2019s Daughters\u2019 Health is also responsible for the integrity and qualifications of all faculty and persons offering input in any capacity affecting the program. Norton King\u2019s Daughters\u2019 Health is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association-Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (AOA-HFAP). The images captured by the radiologic technologists are used for diagnostic interpretation by a radiologist. Many radiologic technologists work in hospitals, although positions in medical clinics and private offices are available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Norton King\u2019s Daughters\u2019 Health School of Radiologic Technology offers a certificate in radiologic technology. However, in order to be eligible to take the ARRT national exam, all students graduating after Jan. 1, 2015, are required to have, at a minimum, an associate degree. In order for our students to meet this mandate, the Norton King\u2019s Daughters\u2019 Health School of Radiologic Technology is in an articulation agreement with Ivy Tech Community College. Once achieved, these goals are the foundation that helps to ensure students\u2019 success in their careers. The goals are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1. Students will be clinically competent<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Student learning outcomes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students will apply their learned positioning skills to provide quality images.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students will select appropriate technical factors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students will use proper radiation protection methods for their patients and themselves.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. The Norton King\u2019s Daughters\u2019 Health School of Radiologic Technology will meet program effectiveness requirements as set forth by JRCERT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Student learning outcomes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Graduates will find employment within 12 months of graduation (JRCERT benchmark of 75% or more over a five-year average).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Graduates will pass the ARRT Radiography Registry on their first attempt (JRCERT benchmark of 75% or more over a five-year average).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students who begin will successfully complete the program (Norton King\u2019s Daughters\u2019 Health benchmark of at least 80% each year).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-jrcert-accreditation\">JRCERT Accreditation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Norton King\u2019s Daughters\u2019 Health School of Radiologic Technology is accredited by the Joint Review Commission on Education in Radiologic Technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">20 N.
