Patients diagnosed with hepatitis C during pregnancy, or pregnant with a known hepatitis C infection, should see a doctor who specializes in treating this infection during their pregnancy. Though patients cannot be treated while pregnant or breastfeeding, the specialist will provide the information and support you need during your pregnancy, and will get you scheduled for follow-up after you have had the baby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
