Norton Cancer Institute Patient Navigator Program nurses are available to help ease stress and offer emotional support for the entire family at no cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the point of a suspicious finding through diagnosis, treatment and survivorship, our patients, their caregivers and their family members have access to a patient navigator as often as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A patient navigator assists with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Education regarding cancer diagnosis, staging and treatment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Timely communication among patients, physicians and primary caregivers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coping with physical and emotional needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scheduling and coordinating staging studies, consultations and referrals to improve convenience and minimize treatment delays<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Connecting patients with appropriate health care and community resources<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to a multidisciplinary, team-based approach to care<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transition between physicians\u2019 offices and clinics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identifying and addressing barriers to timely and appropriate treatment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Patient navigation services are free and available as often as needed by patients and families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-meet-the-team\">Meet the Team<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-bootstrap-blocks-row row\">\n\t\n\n<div class=\"col-12 col-md-6\">\n\t\t\t\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-brain-tumor-patient-navigator\">Brain Tumor Patient Navigator<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kellie S.
